Cost & Refund Policy

Everything you need to know about course fees, deposits, refunds, and the AAA online requirement.

Course Fee

A non-refundable $150 deposit is required at registration. The deposit will be applied to the total cost of the course.

The total remaining balance is due by the first day (start) of the course.

A $25 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

Refund Policy

A student who is unable to attend the entire course can receive a pro-rated refund for the hours that they did not attend, excluding the deposit.

Course Handbook

We provide/loan our students the "How to Drive" handbook at no cost to use for the course. We expect these handbooks to be returned, unmarked and in good shape, by the last in-person class.

$35 fee — If a student is unable to return the book assigned, they will be charged a $35 fee, which must be paid before a completion certificate will be issued.

AAA Online Portion

The required AAA online portion must be purchased and paid directly to AAA by the student or parent. It is separate from — and not collected by — Warman's Driving Academy.

A syllabus will be provided to each student describing when each section/chapter needs to be completed. Progress will be monitored online. It is the student's responsibility to successfully complete the online portion as outlined.

If the student fails to have the online portion completed as outlined, their driving lessons will be put on hold until it is completed.

Each lesson that has to be cancelled due to lack of completion of the assignments will be considered a no show and will result in additional fees being assessed using the no show fee schedule.

If the online portion is not completed prior to the final exam date, the student cannot take the final as outlined by the state's Chapter 29-A rules.

All missed final exams will be considered a no show and alternative exam dates and times will result in an additional fee of $45.00.

If the student is unable to successfully complete the online portion by the time the additional class is offered, they will be expected to repeat the entire driver education course at their own cost. No refund will be provided at this point.
